Album artwork was my initial inspiration for graphic design and pushed me to create. The hours I spent as a child pouring over every detail of a CD case’s covers have now transitioned to me doing the same with the incredible artwork I see on Vinyl Records. Just like judging a book by its cover doesn’t deter me from enjoying any of the contents, but a great image will pique my interest and lead me to explore and find something new. This is what I aspire to achieve with my personal work.
While my venture into photography is more recent, I see the value of capturing moments and continue searching for more, because every minute offers something new. Photographs of people have been my starting point for many of my posters and I am constantly finding new ways to incorporate the two together for new work. This marriage gifts me the opportunity to have mixed medium pieces as well as individual explorations that only seems to expand the possibilities of creation.
